Individual running a workshop

Workshop facilitators

If you are currently working in aged or health care and have an interest in training others to upskill in advance care planning, you may wish to consider becoming an advance care planning facilitator.

Advance Care Planning Australia has developed a range of education packages and materials to help the aged and health care workforce to facilitate face-to-face and/or virtual workshops with other aged and health care workers on advance care planning and its key principles.

These materials have been designed for use nationally and are provided free-of-charge to facilitators who attend our Train the Trainer webinar and complete Modules 1-4 on our ACPA Learning site.

What's required?

It is recommended that facilitators undergoing our Train the Trainer workshop have:
  • Experience delivering training in a health, aged care or health service environment.
  • Have completed online Modules 1-4 available on the Advance Care Planning Australia Learning site.
  • Have experience with initiating advance care planning conversations
  • Do not have any competing conflicts of interest e.g. using ACPA's education material for commercial benefit.
